DESIGN SKILLZ

Because we are sooooo sick of the usual “sales shows” marketed as exciting networking meetings for the industry, DSGNK™ is collaborating with the Griffith University Eco Centre, Australian Green Development Forum (AGDF) and the Green Building Institute (GBI) to put on a bi-monthly event series in the Greater Brisbane area.

DESIGN SKILLZ provides a free platform to hear and learn about various skills existing in our neighbourhoods, which people seemed to have forgotten about. Our goal is to start a conversation around holistic sustainability and introduce people to sustainable architecture and design as a new lifestyle. We also like to encourage people with creative skills to show us what they’ve got and help them to express themselves. Each event will run under a topic for the night and will be held at a different location which will be announced in advance.

Our “target group” is the authentic and curious human being. It doesn’t matter if you are old or young; black, purple or blue; if you are working in the design or art industry or not – EVERYBODY is welcome. We strive to have a great mix of people from all walks of life to come together for an inspiring time in a creative and casual environment.
